2008 John Price Rallying Tour of Epynt : 2 March
I'm planning to go to this rally, partly for my 6R4 fix, and partly to make up for missing Rallye Sunseeker yesterday. There are four Metro 6R4s entered in Class B13, as follows... 9 - John Indri / Dave Engwell 10 - John Stone / Lee Carter 11 - Mark Jasper / Don Whyatt 30 - Simon Gudgeon / Marc Jones The rally is based at Llandovery and uses the tarmac roads of the Epynt Ranges.

Thanks Lee - that is very helpful! I will wander over at some point and say Hi - at a conveniently quiet moment of course!

All the best to the metro crews on the event. Although its going to be very difficult with some of the WRC's and Darrians. Hope you have a great time David :)

Sparkplug- 02-25-2008

Times for SS8, 9 and 10 are to be amended.

There is also a little rumour that No 7 on the Entry List - currently vacant - is being kept open for John Price himself! Now that would be good - if there's any truth in it.

Would be nice to see Price out in his metro. I wonder if he has had much interest in his car thats for sale.

Captain Chaos- 02-28-2008

Mark Jasper's Metro 6R4 has had it's new engine fitted... Engine is in and fitted (as of yesterday), new transmissions, and a bit of polish on the body work, alot of work over the winter so she will be there and on song !!!!!!!! ...but now won't be taking it's Nº 11 slot on Epynt this weekend I'm afraid!... Well thats what I get for tempting fate , engine in and sounds good , but they have now found another problem which cannot be fixed in time for the weekend, so sorry NO BLACK TRACTOR this weekend, well PI**ed off!  I'm sure I feel almost as gutted as the team do, as it was myself that asked how things were going with the new engine and getting the car ready in time! #@£$%^&* tractors!

Metro 6R4 Online News- 03-02-2008

After SS6 JP is 5th, Indri 8th, Stone 11th and Gudgeon 19th

6r4nicky- 03-03-2008

Congratulations to John and Caroline Price on finsihing in 5th overall. Will it be the last time we will see Price in a 6R4? I hope it isnt :( Well done to John Stone and Lee Carter for finishing in 13th place. Is that your first finish on epynt? Unfortunately both John Indri and Simon Gudgeon both retired their 6r4s, Indri broke the rear suspension on the final stage. On the results it doesnt give a reason for Gudgeons retirement.

JP Is going histeric I was told

6r4nicky- 03-03-2008

I wonder what car he would use Mark. Either way it would be a shame to see such a well known 6R4 driver go to historics but it seems the way most people are going.
