Anyone ever owned a 306 gti?
Just wondering if anyone on here has had a peugeot 306 gti-6 or rallye? I am thinking of getting one. But was wondering if anyone has any experience of owning one and could give me some pointers on what to look for and also what they are like to drive. Will be dissapointed to see the escort gti go but after all i have done on the engine which includes kent cams 2 litre throttle body K&N filter ashley racing manifold and exhaust system the car still only has 143.8 bhp compared to the standard 167bhp of a 306 gti-6 or rallye. And the costs to get the 1.8 zetec upto the same sort of power as the 306 would now start to get a little silly, which would involve head work, and throttle bodies which is a few grand.
