Bradford Classic 2008
Hi all, Just a quick note to say how good it was to meet up with Dave Dixon and his Dad,plus Mick Johnson and family at today's Bradford Classic. The event was a real cracker,well-organised with some lovely cars on display. Amongst the freebies in the welcome pack was a very nice DVD of last year's event which features some great clips of C870 EUD in action around the streets of Bradford and at Odsal Stadium,including a little bit of in-car footage. Talk about a nice surprise! Oh,and even the free baseball cap had an embroidered 6R4 pic on it. Once again,the 2 Metros drew a lot of attention and interest and it was great to talk 6R4 with so many enthusiastic visitors. Best wishes to all, Gary :)

Glad to hear it all went well Gary, was it Garreths car that was the 2nd metro there? I havent forgot to check that info for you mate ill get it sorted shortly for you mate promise!

Hi Nicky, The other Metro was Dave Dixon's blue MG and both cars can be seen on the newly-added photo montage on YouTube. It was super to be able to chat to Dave and his Dad at long last - our paths never crossed at the Sunseeker. I had Bruv-in-Law Dave,Tom and Hollie with me in Bradford and we are getting a bit better at loading/unloading the car now. However,putting the tarmac Dymags back on hasn't helped things...the back end is too wide now! We had to resort to putting the forest wheels on the rear during transportation and then popping the big slicks on at the venue. The info would be great if you get chance to dig it out please - I'm hoping to tinker with the car on Wednesday if possible. Take care mate, Gary :)
