Cant wait to the event tomorrow we have how got the geometry and corner weights done still have a few problems with the paddle shift but will work on it through the event on sat. Only got a few miles done on the -*test*-('") as we were waiting on two rose joints that did not arrive till thursday and we didnt have the car set up right . The gearbox has transformed the car hope it lasts but will have the old dog box if it gives bother as this is going to be its first run. will post photos on sunday of the event and a report .

I had one of the best days rallying since i started. The metro is the best car i have ever driven and i cant wait to get out again . We didnt finish the rally as the clutch release bearing bust on the last stage. The gearbox worked perfectly and i was getting up to speed after a couple of stages as this was the first time i had driven the car with the suspension and alinement all set. will have some photos in the morning.

Really glad to hear how much your enjoying the 6R4 experience. Gutted that you retired on the last stage but the main thing is that you now have a base to continue making alterations to things on the car. All you need now is an incar camera in your car for an event Craig :D
What is the 6R4 like in your opinion when compared to your focus wrc you had?

The car handles very similarly to the 99 focuswrc i had but turns in alot better. i got the car set up at ali burrows motorsport who sets up rallycross cars . the acceleration is alot better than the 2002focus it had and the brakes just as good. I need now the get my braking right i was braking way to early on sat . I have i car video system but forgot to bring it with me on sat but will on sat 20th at the new year stages at kirkstown again hope to photos by 1 today. was really happy with the car on sat and the gearbox the clutch release bearing was a new hydraulic one just one of those things . i have two more events before the championship starts to get all the problems sorted. also got a new major sponsor signed up on sat that i was not expecting as he was impressed with car which means i can do a few more events next year.
