is that the dam 4100 that was front cover of rallysport magazine years ago Mark? Looked a cracking piece of Kit.

Metro 6R4 Online News- 01-03-2008

Not sure Nick as Rob Dennis had an issue with rallysport on his car

A nice comparison Mark, but did you know that the car later went on to become Ian Rowlance's 3.0 litre V62V powered car?

I'm sure the top photo is Liam McCarthy during either 1992 / 1993 seasons in Ireland. If it is, then we're talking the same car Mark, which was originally C874EUD - one of the ex-1985 Austin Rover Rallysprint cars! List of owners goes something like this - Austin Rover Motorsport Cyril Bolton Sam Nelson Liam McCarthy David Appleby... ...who converted it to a DAM 4-100 GTi Rob Dennis Steve Fleck Paul Cooper David Appleby Mark Slater David Jacobs Ian Rowlance Unless somebody knows differently?

This one is actually a TPR, as its a genuine 25yr old 6r4 with a set of newer body panels. Ian Rowlance has since taken them off and his rallycross car is back to proper boxy style now, and I have all the clip on bits for sale, if anyone wants (Pictured on M. Lowes site)

Captain Chaos- 02-11-2008

Is that how the cars split then Roger - the original 6R4s with a set of new body panels are classed as TPR, and the spaceframe long wheelbase totally newly built cars are DAM?

Metro 6R4 Online News- 02-11-2008

The first cars where TPR cars as you will know David, there was an ex Nigel Hutton car that was having the make over to the TPR panels but DA was making an "E2" version as stated in MN. Not long after was the split between DA and TP After the split the long base DAM came out
