That looks absolutely stunning Garreth, I bet your so chuffed to pieces with it. As mark said thats the best modified clubman car i have seen. And there are a few stunning ones about aswell like Paulc's and Howards.
All it needs now is the belga livery

I would leave it white it looks mean enough with the wheel fans fitted
6r4nicky- 02-24-2007
Dont get me wrong it looks awesome as it is.
But i think that it would be alot different having it in the belga colour scheme. Which is surpriseing as its one of the best colour schemes for a 6r4, yet only 1 or 2 owners have had it done on their car. Would certainly look lovely at a slowly sideways event :)
Are you registerd for the slowly sideways gb club Garreth? Would be awesome seeing that at the show they are doing in bradford, or the rally show at chatsworth house :)

I wasnt implying anything Nick lol just reckoned it looks the bizz in White but maybe the Belga colours would look good in tarmac guise
When is Bradford Nick?
I would say if a livery scheme was to be had then Harri Toivenen Unipart colours

You have taken a good looking 6r4 and biult a great looking 6r4, well done, if the 6r4 in the states is worth $200000 whats yours worth
6r4nicky- 02-24-2007
Ill have a look for the date when the slowly sideways boys are up bradford. Its over the satruday and sunday so will probably stay up their. Would love to get my camera installed for it and possibly get a ride in a 6r4 or anything else if any of the 6r4 owners are reading

Thnks guys. I honestly didn't think it would ever get finished !!!! There are still a few bits to finish off - fancy carbon fibre ventilated wing mirrors to let a bit of air in being the main one (at TAL being finished as we speak). Then something trick in the suspension dept - but still hush hush at the moment.
I can't decide what to do about the colour - I do like the plain white look but the Belga scheme is very tempting. I am contemplating stripping it down next winter and having the shell blasted and repainted plus all the suspension and other bits powder coated. So I'll have to make me mind up by then ! I'm looking for suggestions for a company to carry out the work if anyones got any ideas ?
My cars got no history and the Slowly Sideays lot seem to be awash with Metros at the moment so I doubt there'd anything going there.
This is a list of the work that has been carried out so far -

Hey Garreth, have you done anything else with the car since you had it back, or are you just enjoying driving the thing :D
:D
garreth- 08-28-2007
Enjoying the driving !
On holiday this week (but still at work so will get nowt done !) planning to fit the carbon doors and ventilated door mirrors.
Nothing else really apart from the electric water pump and some steering mods done by Ian Rowlance.
Have got some interesting developments in the pipeline though - will keep you posted
