List of all Metro 6R4 owners?

Hi Alastair hope you had a nice christmas? Im afraid we have had chats about setting up a database of 6r4's and there owners before on here and other forums in the past. Some people wanted to do it, others didnt. There was a couple of reasons why myself and Mark Lowe decided against it but i honestly cant remember lol :oops: Im sure Mark will soon tell you why. I think the one point that we was concerned about was what about if previous owners of the car didnt want to be added to the list which would be available to view on the net. I know Mark has got what in my opinion is the most comprehensive list of all registrations and owners ever. If i know i can addd anything to his list i will and i know that If i needed to know any history on a certain 6r4 he would give me all the info he has. I suppose the other thing that would put Mark off having it put online (and what would put me off if I had done the same) would be that you spend all the time doing the research, yet it would only take 1 minute for someone to copy and paste all the info onto another site and try to get all the credit for it.

Hiya Alastair hope you had a good xmas too I have 178 registrations for 6R4's then theres car not registered. Personally I dont beleive in doing a lot of research then paste it on here like that other guy had done on the other forum. I dont mind helping and giving reg numbers and details out but I wouldnt give all my stuff away as there a good few of us that have a lot of info. I am constantly adding names to my list of owners of previous cars and new owners getting 6R4's Its up to the mods if they want to keep the above info on here Sorry to be a prude but theres my feelings :)

Mark I wil let Alastair keep the above list on here, but i wont add any info to the list which from having a quick look, i can add quite abit to. Alastair what are your feelings about having a database for 6r4s and owners?
