Stephen Price on the 96 event. His dad John was actually leading the event at the time but when news filterd through that his son had the accident he retired. John won the event 2 years later though :D Shame we dont see much of Stephen out now, but looking at the car its no wonder why it would put you off doing it again.

that's a seriously scary picture. Wow! I had heard that steven had had a 'biggy' in the past but didn't know the details. I can well understand why he is not so keen at present to compete. :x

colin mcrae drove that car once.john gray hired it for the 96 scottish chapionship,car was rebuilt and painted orange after it was smashed.you were lucky to get that pic.if jp was around he would of covered it up.

What reg would the car have appeared as after it was repainted orange? As the only orange car i can remember is the old Peter Lloyd one which is now in the hands of Duncan Holder :)

tough one that.i dont think lloyd bought it,but if you give me the registration i can tell you.the name duncan rings a bell though.if i could see more pics of the car i could tell you whether it was the same car.

I'm pretty sure it's possibly the same car Nicky - but clearly fully rebuilt & jigged afterwards. Didn't Barry Renwick have an orange car come to think of it? :wink:

if renwicks car has fibreglass doors with the x cut out of them for the door bars thats the car unless he changed the doors.jp had the doors for years.i cut re shaped the inside so the door would shut and clear the x door bars.also should have the battery in the heater hole.
