Thats Crystal Palace Sprint 31st May 1999! The car had a 3.0lt engine then. FTD was 35.20sec. I got the FTD trophy on aggregate my next best time was 35.72s as opposed to 38.20s Other interesting times: Rick Lee RS200 35.74 Dave Jacobs 6R4 35.78 Did it again in 2000 This time lost the FTD: John Hewat Reynard SF86 35.22s I recorded (this time in C98 KOG) 35.68s Champion of Champions Rod Birley Escort WRC 36.56s (He didn't like that!.... :D )

Yes, it was excellent. He was there with the full kit complete with tyre warmers, rollers to run the car to warm the transmission before the run (not legal in sprinting by the way) the lot!!! I loved it... The engine then was what I call a reliable road engine 3.0lt with works inlet system and mild BD1 profile cams max 8.000rpm 330BHP but very good low end torque. The car now has a 3.5lt Rally-cross engine on a Zeuss block, slide injection, Jaguar XJ220 heads 485BHP

It would of been a handful on the Monteberg as the roads where slippery as feck this year as Simon Gudgeon put his off on the first bend
