With John Indri deciding to take part on a rally on Epynt on the same weekend as the Monteberg Chris Tilly is to enter too as they share the same service crew, and with Indri and his team looking after the car Tilly wouldnt of had a service crew to look after the car.
Aswell as doing the event above Indri, Tilly and Simon Gudgeon will be con-*test*-('")ing the Millbrook stages at the end of May. This is a blow for the Belgian 6R4 fans, but most of this is down to the organisers of the Monteberg Rallysprint not allowing the 6R4's to compete for overall honours and some drivers are not prepared to compete for a demonstration run only.

News from 16/4/07
After contacting the organisers of the Monterberg about Metros not being allowed to compete I have now received this
Hi Mark,
I have received your message last thursday, much to late but I have news about the Metro's in the Monteberg Rallysprint!
Last Friday I have contacted Belgian NSA (RACB) and explained the "problem" with the Metro's 6R4.
If I am right, almost not one of the Metro's has a original 3-Liter engine, most off them made changements (2.5 or 2.8?) With this in my mind I have made a suggestion to the RACB: in a International Rallysprint there is a E-class and that's for "experimental" cars. A Metro's with "changements" can, from my point of view, run in that E-class, in competition!
They were surprised in Brussel !!! and today there is a meeting and hopefully we receive good news from them.
If you could guarantee me that the 6 or 7 Metros would come over to the Monteberg (if you can drive in competition) we will give a beautiful trophee to the best Metro and if we have 10 Metro's, the best one get's a free start in the second International rallysprint: The Rallysprint of Reningelst (octobre)
Judith Morgan-Fairfield Motorsport and David Higgings-Allsports Logistics) promissed also to come with some Metro's and Darrians.
So, cross your fingers and I hope to receive good news this evening,

Just got this now confirmed
Mark
Good news,
Green light from RACB: OK for the Metro's on the Monteberg, in competition in class e (experimental)
Off course, the safety (roll cage, seats, helmets, ...) has to be OK.
And now: let all those Metro's come over please, I've done a lot of tel.calls to RACB. We give a trophee for the best Metro AND after the 3rd tour we organise "the best 10" with special price: free entry for Belgium Ypres Westhoek rally 2007
Sportive greetings,
Stefaan Brackx
