I really think we should ALL make a big push for this event over the next few weeks. Rallye Sunseeker proved that thee are owners out there willing to attend events like this.

I fancy doing both days, and may I suggest we might make it into a bit of a social event on the Saturday night? There isn't any camping at Chatsworth itself, but I know there are campsites in the area, failing that maybe we could book into a local B&B? Either way, it'll want doing fairly soon if we are to find enough rooms. What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea dave,as you said tho we need to get pushing on this Dan

I have emailed the event organisors about camping at chatsworth as I remember some motor home type things thee last year. Me and Garreth were talking about htis yesterday strangely enough and I am up for camping, mainly as it will be cheaper than getting a hotel booked I suppose. And less hassle for owners to get their cars on trailors etc. Ill keep you all informed as soon as I hear anything.

The event website says no camping Nicky, so that might be the same answer you get from the organisers? Worth a try though for sure.

I thought it would have been mentioned on hte car club display notes but oh well. Ill email some of the owners that are interested so far and see what they think.

Stopping over somewhere sounds like a good excuse for a p**s up ! Count me in. But I'm only coming if I win something ! Garreth

A piss up - it never even came into my mind! Hic... Guys, I think we have the name for our first 6R4.net award - not the Oscars, but the Humphries! :D

Just had an email from the organisors saying that camping isnt allowed but motorhomes have an area for them :? Oh well I think I'll be camping everyone and it will be cheaper than booking rooms etc. And also for the owners I suppose they could park their vans and trailors next to the tents. I will contact some more owners over the next week and let you all know how I get on. One point I just wanted to clarify with anyone that is thinking of displaying with 6R4.NET would need to pay me the money in advance for their display tickets, as A - I simply dont have the money to order tickets B - I dont want to be left with spare tickets Just wanted to get that out of the way as we had a discussion about this at the sunseeker.
