Well what a fantastic first overall for our forum member Chris Dillow. Was really glad that you finished the event with all the pain you have probably been through but to win the rally aswell is a sign of things to come for you and the team :) Really chuffed for you all at rally-6r4.com Chris :D

I'm knackered but on top the world!!
Many thanks for all the congratulations. Its not really sunk in yet. :D Must say a very big thankyou to Ali for finding me the lampod. It did the job wonderfully. The car was awesome all weekend. The driver just about managed to keep up although I did manage to spin it flat in 4th at almost 100mph the car broke away on a long fast 90 left thought I had got away with it then it just went. Thankfully it was on one of the airfields so did not hit anything and only lost about 15 secs by the time I got the engine re-started. :oops: As most of you will know it really is something else to drive quickly. It gives you such a buzz especially when you speak to the specatators and they still love the sight and sound of it. To win your local event on its 20th anniversary and be only the second cornishman to do so is a dream come true. 8) Anybody hear of any photo's or video clips please let me know. Chris

Hi Dan, Yes I do have a few from the event but will need to get the ok from the Mark at Rallygallery.com as they belong to him. Don't think there will be a problem but out of courtesey i must ask first. Will email them to you once its sorted. Chris
