Today's Opposite Lock Stages at Manby was a complete washout with major flooding which caused the organisers no option but to cancel the event.
This is good news for Tynemouth MC as Geordie Tindall has confirmed that Paul Cooper who was to compete today has now put a late entry in for the Turnbull Trophy Stages making it Four 6R4's out tomorrow.

Chris Wise and Tracy Taylor-West continued their winning form by finishing in 1st place on the Turnbull Trophy Stages at Albermarle Barracks today . Three other 6R4's lined up to do battle which included John Stone / Lee Carter in their Legend Motorsport run car, Tom Morris / Colin Harkness (Parkhead Building supplies) and late entrant Paul Cooper / Paul Mallalieu in their TAL Motorsport looked after car.
First out was Stone and Carter but they where suffering gear selector problems they retired with a broken linkage. Tom Morris / Colin Harkness retired with sheared wheels studs but came back out but called it a daywhile Cooper was going well but retired with an unknown reason.
All Metro's where sporting the website stickers and my thanks to them for doing this for me, also my thanks to Chris and Tracy for letting me give them a hand in service as it felt good to be on the winning team.
