It was an offroad programme I caught the back end of last week Nick on Motors TV, I hoped to catch the repeat but forgot. Good action and Offroading is the way forward as the cars look a lot better than they used to look

It certainly wasnt one of our best events, the weather ruined it. and the programe didnt do it any favours realy. They interviewed me on my way out for my first run and then again when i got back in. They was also going on how we are being "enviromentaly conciencous" ??? How does that come across when in the background it looked like "the battle of the somme" 1st o/a was a 206 with a supercharged V6 jag engine 2nd o/a was a 206 with a nissan 350 engine (fully sorted) 3rd o/a was a 206 with a scubi STI engine, special import from japan total 75 entries. i finished 3rd in class, not good realy but acceptable. 31st o/a i think. I clipped a tree on the last run, had to repair front wing, (looks like new again now). Then found i have a sick engine so that does answer some questions for me.

Just got back from 3rd round, castle oer, scotland, Think most of you might know it as twiglees. Bad day at black rock for me. New engine expired 9 miles into the first stage. think its dropped a rod bolt and cracked the block, engine locked up and got water in the oil. On with taking it out yet again. think i will mount it in on velcro this time Then on way home on sunday night i had 2 blow outs on the wagon, both rear nearside tyres at the same time, it woke me up i can tell you. had to crawl home with one spare wheel on the back for about 60 miles. any one got any good contacts for wagon tyres, 205/75 x 17.5.
